Verona Clematis
Crafted from delicate French corded lace and designed to feel effortlessly light to the wearer, ‘Verona Clematis’ is a modern, corseted lace wedding dress from Phillipa Lepley’s Grace collection.

Soft and romantic, the dress features a framing off-the-shoulder neckline that subtly highlights the décolleté, along with refined long sleeves and a fitted skirt that flares out at the hem.
Fine French corded lace has been hand-moulded in the Phillipa Lepley Atelier over the bodice and skirt in a single piece, so there are no visible seams or joins. This couture technique, showcasing the skill of the artisans in the atelier, gives the gown a smooth, sculpted silhouette.
The skirt is fitted through the hips and gently flares out over layers of soft tulle and organza, creating a shape that feels weightless to wear. A signature Phillipa Lepley corset, discreetly hidden inside, provides impeccable structure and support – defining the waist in contrast to the flared hem.
Beautiful finishing details bring the design to life, with hand-appliquéd lace scallops lining the off-the-shoulder neckline and cuffs, and hand-sewn bridal buttons and loops on the long sleeves and centre back.

For the Grace collection shoot, the gown was paired with a striking, oversized turquoise satin bow worn at the waist. Crafted from Phillipa’s beloved duchess satin – sourced from the prestigious luxury fabric mills of Lake Como – the bow is full and sculptural, cut with straight tails for a clean, modern finish. It’s an exquisite, detachable piece for brides seeking an unexpected splash of colour.

‘Verona Clematis’ is styled with David Morris Jeweller diamonds, Mikimoto pearls, Emmy London shoes, and a couture Phillipa Lepley ‘Wild Rose’ lace veil.
