The ‘Wild Primrose Corset’ – a meticulously constructed lace bodice – is paired with the ‘Dotty Belgravia Skirt’, a voluminous, ballerina-length design. Together, they form a modern yet timeless bridal silhouette; styled separately, they offer versatility for the wedding weekend.

At the heart of this design is Phillipa’s renowned corset: a form-sculpting foundation that has become synonymous with the brand. Developed over decades by artisans in the London atelier, the signature corset has shaped thousands of silhouettes with its distinctive waist-defining structure. It is celebrated here as a standalone design – a refined bodice crafted in delicate French corded ‘Wild Primrose’ lace, set over two layers of ‘flocked’ dotty tulle. Each piece of lace is individually positioned for the client by the atelier team to flatter, moulded precisely to the body during fittings at the Phillipa Lepley Conservatory. Clean, crisp lines at the strapless neckline keep the silhouette modern, while the corset extends into an elegant 50’s inspired drop-waist to elongate the torso. A discreet closure of fine hooks and bars at the back ensures a clean silhouette, while enhancing the piece’s styling versatility.

Paired with the corset is the Dotty Belgravia Skirt, a ballerina-length piece cut with a soft 1950s-inspired line. Two layers of dotty tulle are layered over a satin organza skirt, creating a soft ‘flocked’ spot effect – a design detail Phillipa adores. Layers of fabric are carefully integrated to give the skirt volume and lift, while preserving its lightness and fluid movement.
