Scarlett
An ode to Hollywood glamour, ‘Scarlett’ is a sculptural, strapless gown, crafted from luxurious Italian duchess satin, that channels the opulence of 1950s couture through a modern lens.

‘I had a vision for a dress inspired by the starlet’s of the 50’s – classic and timeless with a modern, clean silhouette, and of course, a dramatic skirt.’ – Phillipa Lepley.
Phillipa has long been drawn to duchess satin for its rich structure and timeless beauty. Woven in mills nestled beside Lake Como, the satin has a soft ivory hue with a lustrous sheen that reflects light with a subtle radiance – flattering on all skin tones and breathtaking in movement.
‘There’s something magical about the way duchess satin holds its shape – it’s the ultimate canvas.’ – Phillipa Lepley.
Beneath the satin lies a hidden, signature corset, expertly engineered to shape and define the waist, while remaining imperceptible to the eye. The result is a clean, uninterrupted silhouette that feels both modern and timeless.

The neckline is bold in its simplicity – a sweeping strapless band that gently curves around the décolletage, enhancing the beauty of the female form without embellishment. At the back, the neckline plunges into a dramatic low ‘V’, showcasing the back with quiet sensuality. The sharp line of the satin against skin creates a striking contrast, especially when paired with a simple string of pearls or a statement drop earring.
From the structured bodice, the gown unfolds into a grand, voluminous skirt with a statement pleat, petticoats and long train for drama.

‘Scarlett’ is made to be styled – whether worn with a matching duchess satin stole for an Old Hollywood look, or accessorised simply with heirloom jewels. A statement in satin, it is designed to leave a lasting impression while remaining truly timeless.
