Phillipa Lepley bride Madeline married at Cornwell Manor wearing a bespoke satin chiffon wedding dress with a long-sleeve, detachable lace top.

From initial sketches to the final fitting, every step of Madeline’s couture journey was bespoke to her – every stage imbued with a commitment and passion for creating a gown that was uniquely hers. 

Madeline’s couture wedding dress was crafted from luxurious satin chiffon for its ethereal feeling. A signature Phillipa Lepley corset was hidden inside the gown, defining the waist and creating a feminine silhouette. A bespoke, narrower satin chiffon silhouette was developed with Madeline to perfectly suit her frame and the nature of her wedding day.

Drawing inspiration for her top from the timeless elegance of Grace Kelly, Madeline worked with the design team at Phillipa Lepley to create a stunning masterpiece of delicate French ‘Buttercup’ lace, in keeping with her romantic venue setting. A high back neckline flowed into a refined closed ‘V’, creating a shape that was both regal and demure. The top’s sleeves were delicately finished at the hems and cuffs with romantic scalloping – three intricate scallops within each scallop ‘mountain’. 

Madeline’s lace bridal top was made detachable, allowing her to transform her look effortlessly on the wedding day. For the reception it was swapped for a clean satin chiffon belt, tied in a beautiful bridal bow at the back. Made from the same lightweight satin chiffon as her skirt, this simple yet sophisticated accessory accentuated the corseted waist and added a soft, feminine touch to the look.

A delicate, plain two-tier silk tulle veil completed Madeline’s bridal look and embodied the soft, light ambiance of her wedding as it floated behind her walking down the floral-lined aisle. 

Every detail of Madeline’s couture wedding dress – from the light satin chiffon and romantic lace top to the delicate silk tulle veil – was thoughtfully designed in collaboration with Phillipa’s expert couture team to complement the ethereal ambiance of her wedding and suit her personal style. The result was an exquisite gown that exuded the timeless beauty she envisioned for her special day.
