Client Couture Fittings Manager

Phillipa Lepley is internationally renowned for creating exquisite couture bridal and eveningwear of the highest standard for a discerning global clientele.
We are seeking an exceptional Client Couture Fittings Manager to join our team at an exciting stage of growth. This is a multifaceted, client-centric role focused on delivering an impeccable couture experience, ensuring every client journey is seamless, personal, and of the highest luxury standard.
The Role
Based full-time (5 days per week) in our Chelsea fitting space, The Conservatory, you will play a pivotal role in managing all client fittings and acting as the central point of contact throughout each client’s couture journey with discretion.
You will work closely with our skilled Atelier, Shop teams, and Conservatory teams, ensuring exceptional communication, coordination, and delivery at every stage.
This role also includes responsibility for the smooth running of The Conservatory building and the managing of your assistant.
There may be other adhoc responsibilities assisting our PR and Marketing teams with events and Shoots.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all client fitting schedules, balancing internal production timelines with client availability
- Oversee all aspects of client fittings, including preparation, execution, and follow-up
- Support and work alongside our team of fitters during appointments
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their couture journey (typically 8–12 months and multiple fittings)
- Deliver an outstanding, highly personalised client experience at every touchpoint
- Manage client communications, order updates, billing, invoicing, and payments
- Ensure seamless coordination with the Atelier to support efficient production schedules
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of The Conservatory and manage your assistant
- Collaborate closely with management and teams across all locations to maintain clear communication and exceptional standards
Pattern Cutting Student Work Placement

Phillipa Lepley is recognised globally as a leading British wedding dress and eveningwear designer, renowned for bespoke couture dresses of uncompromising quality, showcasing the most luxurious fabrics, exquisite intricate embroidery and unique defining corsetry.
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pattern Cutting Intern to join our London based atelier and shadow our Pattern Department.
This work placement would operate on a part-time basis with flexible hours. Up to 6 months duration.
Role Overview
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain supervised hands-on experience within a luxury bridal couture environment. Working closely alongside the Head of Client Patterns and Atelier Team the successful candidate will shadow the pattern development process while observing couture techniques, garment construction and Atelier workflow within a guided learning environment.
The placement is designed to provide educational knowledge to couture pattern cutting and luxury garment craftsmanship, allowing the candidate to develop their understanding of precision cutting, silhouette development and high-end atelier processes under supervision.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a current fashion or pattern cutting student with a strong interest in couture craftsmanship, luxury bridalwear and garment construction, who is eager to learn within a busy fast paced atelier environment.
Senior Couture Seamstress
In this role you will be creating bespoke couture bridal and eveningwear for clients and our VIP’s.
Working with the most luxurious materials, each piece needs to be carefully crafted to the client’s desire. We work as a team, bringing our individual expertise to problem solve each garment during development. Every team member is part of Phillipa’s ‘frock-saw puzzle’ locking together to build a coherent team. You will operate with dedication and pride as part of the talented Phillipa Lepley team.
We are searching for a team player with a long-term commitment to the brand with a love and passion for beautiful couture dresses. You will be joining us at an exciting expanding time, with the recent growth into ‘The Conservatory’ next door to our existing Chelsea shop, alongside our recent luxury Atelier growth to double the space. Your role will be based in the Chelsea Atelier, working hand in hand with our whole artisan team.

Embellishment & Atelier Work Placement

This work placement would operate on a part-time basis with flexible hours. Up to 6 months duration.
Role Overview
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain supervised hands-on experience within a luxury bridal couture environment. The successful candidate will observe and shadow members of the Embellishment and Atelier team and receive supervised instruction in couture embroidery and embellishment techniques. Any practical activities undertaken will be for training and skills development purposes and will be closely supervised.
The placement is designed to provide educational knowledge on the couture techniques used. You will be handling the highest quality materials, learning new techniques, and developing your embroidery skills under supervision.
