Phillipa Lepley bride Paulina

Phillipa Lepley bride Paulina married in Germany wearing a couture variation of ‘Vienna Décolleté Bow’. 

Built on a signature Phillipa Lepley corset to define the waist, the gown was cut from Italian duchess satin in a fresh, modern white. An off-the-shoulder neckline framed the décolleté, with a softly draped knot at the left to form a delicate bow. The bodice was moulded from a single piece of fabric by expert hands in the atelier, before flaring into a full skirt. Hand-sewn buttons and loops lined the centre back.

Based in America, Paulina sought the international couture service offered at Phillipa Lepley: a personally tailored schedule for the creation of her gown. From sketch to silk, she watched the dress come to life in fittings at the Phillipa Lepley Conservatory, every detail refined to complement her frame. 

Paulina paired her wedding dress with a two-tier, fine silk tulle veil, embroidered by hand with intricate erigeron flowers. Each flower was stitched with a single skein of thread, in sage green and ivory, to appear as if tumbling down the skirt.
