A stand out piece within the Phillipa Lepley collection, ‘Vienna Organza Hummingbirds’ showcases the immaculate skill and attention to detail of the Phillipa Lepley atelier. Individually hand-crafted hummingbirds dance across the crisp, light silk organza of the corseted bodice and throughout the full skirted embroidered wedding dress.

The birds are charmingly brought to life with gold, ivory and pale pink thread hand-embellished with delicate beads and tiny sequins, expertly stitched by Phillipa’s artisan team in the London atelier. The layering of the fine embroidery and embellishment picks up the light, creating such depth to the design and a true piece of art.

The statement neckline and crisp narrow straps elegantly flatter the collarbone, embellished with a “charm” of intricately embroidered hummingbirds fluttering up the narrow silk straps and softening into an iconic Phillipa Lepley corseted bodice.

The waist minimising and body defining hidden corsetry offers an incredibly flattering silhouette, off set by the full, voluminous skirt. Layer upon layer of crisp petticoats hold the light satin base skirt overlaid with silk organza, flowing into a dramatic 80 inch train.
