The off the shoulder collar that sits below the collarbone is the ‘piece de resistance’ and the centre of this design. It is low yet demure, with a richly rolled satin top edge. Highly skilled seamstresses painstakingly place it in exactly the right position for the bride, accentuating her collar bones and shoulders. This offers the opportunity to create a more sculptural, draped finish, wrapped around the shoulders, or to keep the clean crisp lines of the wide collar as it has been styled here.
The silk crepe of the dress is mouldable yet soft, hugging the body in the most flattering way and featuring cleverly contouring lines through the corseted waist.
The corseted dress is completed with a 70″ train, and silk covered buttons at the centre of the back.
