COUTURE WEDDING DRESS: VIENNA JASMINE IVY

‘Vienna Jasmine Ivy’ features its namesake’s flowers, from top to bottom, decoratively forming the shape of the sleeves and framing the straight neckline.

The bodice is corseted and shaped beautifully, enhancing the curves around the bust and waist, and the skirt is full but flows freely, with no petticoats beneath it, complete with a 75″ train.

Beneath the feature sleeves, which are so delicately hand-crafted with flowers, is a strapless base dress made from a sumptuously soft pale silk and white silk organza. The Jasmine Ivy overlay with draped sleeves creates an almost square neckline of contemporary lines and an elegant open back.

The fine needle and thread work carried out by such specialist artisans can be seen in the exceptionally detailed finish of this couture dress, truly giving it its identity. The necklines have been adorned with individually placed Jasmine Ivy ‘petals’ creating a 3D motif edge. Each petal has been sewn by hand at the Chelsea atelier to the specific millimetre creating just the right immaculate, feminine shape. Placed with such precision, they form a seemingly life-like collage and a true piece of art.
