COUTURE WEDDING DRESS: SYMMETRICAL SCROLL TIED BACK

Featuring exceptional draping, appliqué lace work and signature corsetry, ‘Symmetrical Scroll Tied Back’ embodies timeless Phillipa Lepley design traits reimagined: immaculate symmetrical appliqué of the Scroll lace, a deeply scooped back neckline and a lace ‘apron’ overskirt revealing tiers of French corded lace through the train.

This exquisite symmetrical design of skilfully placed and seamlessly appliquéd Ivoire scroll lace gives a timeless lace wedding gown a refined, modern edge. Expertly engineered in Phillipa Lepley’s London atelier, the cleverly cut tiering of gathered lace throughout the train adds gentle fullness and undulation to the gown, creating a bridal look that is both elegant and romantic, yet wonderfully playful.

Full of flow and movement, the apron tie-back skirt and tiered train contrast with the corseted structure of the lightweight satin base dress beneath, cinching in the waist which is elegantly finished with a feminine hand tied bow at the back waistline.

Scalloped lace edge detailing of the ‘tagliatelle’ width straps further soften the look, while the long train provides just enough length to add to the statement back. The low scooped back neckline brings an elegant but sensual feel to the silhouette, perfectly balancing the intricacies of skirt revealing the beautiful tiers of French Scroll lace.

Phillipa says, ‘The skilful engineering and considered symmetrical handling of the lace of this dress truly celebrates what my incredible artisan team are renowned for, showcasing our exquisite artisanship at its highest level’.
