Phillipa Lepley bride Madeleine
Phillipa Lepley bride Madeleine wore ‘Vienna Décolleté Bow’ for her London wedding – an off-the-shoulder couture gown in fresh white Italian duchess satin, with an organic neckline drape flowing into a bow at the front.
The off-the-shoulder bodice was moulded by hand in the Phillipa Lepley Atelier, framing the feminine décolletage and following the natural line of the shoulders. The neckline drape was developed to fall naturally around the body letting the fabric lead, gathering into a softly tied bow at the left hand side.
Shaped over a signature Phillipa Lepley internal corset, the gown defined the waist before flowing into a full skirt, with a voluminous petticoat creating its shape and extending into a long train.
Madeleine paired the gown with a two-tier hand-embroidered veil in delicate silk tulle. Peonies, primroses, fuchsias, leaves and stems were embroidered by hand in fine threadwork, alongside 3D laser-cut details, ivory pearls and tiny glass beads. Her initials were woven into the base in hand-embroidered script, adding a personal detail to the veil.
Madeleine married at Brompton Oratory, followed by dinner and a reception at Lancaster House.
