Phillipa Lepley bride Hannah
When designing her bespoke wedding dress with Phillipa Lepley, Hannah was led by her Jamaican destination wedding venue, seeking a dress that was as effortlessly beautiful as her Caribbean setting.

Crafted from a luxurious feather-light silk chiffon, Hannah’s bespoke dress embodied the delicate balance of lightness and structure, an ethereal creation that seemed to breathe across her silhouette.
The bodice was constructed on a specialist lightweight corselette base, custom-made to define the waist without compromising comfort or fluidity. Draped with layers of silk chiffon that seemed to float across the body, the dress achieved an incredible sense of softness. The skirt flowed in a double layer of chiffon to maintain the gown’s airy movement.

Every detail, from the off-the-shoulder draped straps to the low back neckline, was considered to ensure the gown felt almost weightless – a vital feature for Hannah’s tropical destination wedding. In fittings at The Conservatory in Chelsea, the thorough process was overseen by Phillipa herself, with Hannah able to approve each stage of the design as it evolved.
Clean, minimalist designs like this demand the highest level of expertise, and the Atelier’s artisans deliver this with unparalleled skill. Every drape was meticulously adjusted to achieve the illusion of fabric that had been ‘whispered’ into place, as if untouched by human hands, whilst maintaining body and volume in the folds.

Pairing her dress with a single tier, plain silk tulle veil, Hannah’s bespoke bridal look appeared to move with her like a second skin as she made her way down the aisle – fluid, graceful, and impossibly light, enveloped in soft and flowing silk.
