‘Christobal Lattice’ is a fresh new take on a loved Phillipa Lepley silhouette. A sister to the ‘Christobal’ design, this couture wedding dress features a modern square neckline and stunning hand-embroidered sleeves.

Luxurious Italian duchess satin, specially sourced by Phillipa from Lake Como, forms the gown. A framing, draped satin, square neckline is moulded over a signature sculpting corset, before flowing into a full circular skirt. The centre back is neatly finished with hand-sewn satin bridal buttons and loops.

The standout design feature of Christobal Lattice is its tulle embroidered long sleeves. Designed to sit importantly on the shoulder, the sleeve head features delicate origami pleating to give a three-dimensional effect that sits off the body. 

Strings of hand-embroidered satin stitch leaves criss-cross in a lattice design from the tip of the shoulder down to the wrist of the fine tulle sleeves. Frosted white glass crystal navettes and silk ivory and white satin beads elegantly intertwine, forming a diamond pattern that celebrates all of Phillipa’s favourite hand-embroidery threadwork techniques. Satin chiffon loops with tulle buttons adorn the sleeve openings.

Christobal Lattice expertly balances the line between effortless simplicity and intricate detailing. Clean and sumptuous duchess satin envelopes the bride in a cocoon of luxurious fabric, whilst refined embroidery weaves a leafy tapestry down the sleeves, adding texture and dimension that is simply breathtaking.
