Phillipa Lepley bride Georgina wore an exquisite bespoke white duchess satin dress for her winter wedding in London.

A special feature of Georgina’s couture gown was the beautiful draped neckline – draped to such perfection it seemed almost untouched.

Her dress was crafted from the finest, luxurious white duchess satin, sourced by Phillipa near Lake Como. Bespoke petticoats and a Phillipa Lepley corset were fitted to form the base of the dress, before the fabric was draped by hand at the Phillipa Lepley Atelier.

The neckline came to life on the body, resembling the playfulness of ice cream whipped around Georgina’s shoulders. It was set in a specific position on her frame so to be in perfect proportion, highlighting her shoulders and collarbones beautifully. The satin skirt was fitted over the hip before gently flaring out in a gentle, timeless A-line shape.

Georgina paired her couture gown with chic sparkle, accessorising with a bridal veil and belt.

Her veil was a hand-beaded silk tulle two tier design, adorned with individual swarovski crystals in a mix of finishes and scale to create a subtle, yet impactful glisten in the November light. A Diamanté Twist belt was added to even further define the corseted silhouette – ‘I fell in love with Phillipa’s corsets, and really wanted a look which accentuated my waist.’ – Georgina

Georgina married in a beautiful church ceremony in Kensington, followed by an intimate reception at The Lanesborough. The newlyweds were joined by their 8 month old daughter, whose flower girl dress was made in the same white duchess satin. They walked into married life surrounded by their loved ones holding sparklers outside of the church – ‘it was one of the most magical moments of my life.’ – Georgina.
