Love Swan
Love Swan is created from the most exquisite blush pink silk chiffon drape; a stunning fusion of bridal and evening wear.
A corseted bodice is overlaid with the finest pin tucked chiffon drape forming a strong diagonal ‘V’ through the front and back of the dress. This fine hand work requires intricate and detailed manipulation of fabrics and stitching by the highly skilled artisans of the Phillipa Lepley atelier. Refined cap sleeves are considerately positioned to sit away from the body on the outer edge of the shoulders to create an open neckline that accentuates the collar bones.
Two chiffon over skirts contribute an ethereal fluidity, providing a whimsical contrast to the structured, corseted bodice. Mirroring the diagonal V of the bodice, the top layer of chiffon features an opening at the front, resulting in a unique centre point full of romantic and billowing movement. The skirt is complete with sumptuous fine pin hems that heighten this movement and photograph beautifully; it is the delicacy in the details such as these that result in such a refined and one-of-a-kind couture masterpiece.
