Showcasing the skilled work of the Chelsea Atelier’s ‘petit mains,’ a signature Phillipa Lepley internal corset defines the waist and is further enhanced by intricate, cleverly-cut panelling through the silk. A crisp and framing square neckline is complete with soft pleats, complementing the origami style pleating on the sleeve head. Pretty fluted sleeves and buttons and loops at the back lend a graceful, feminine contrast to the more architectural neckline; an example of Phillipa Lepley’s unrivalled eye for balance and proportion. The soft fluid silk and a 70” bridal train results in a romantic sense of undulation and movement; dramatic in its simplicity.
