Silver Darling Coat

The ‘Silver Darling Coat’ is a full-length, high-neck couture lace coat, featuring long sleeves finished with a structured, gathered sleeve head, and a statement long train. 

Crafted from a very fine couched corded filigree French lace, every inch hand-mounted seamlessly onto invisible tulle in our London atelier – a true labour of love for Phillipa’s specialist artisans. Worked onto tulle with no visible seams, the lace reads as continuous and uninterrupted, with scalloped edges at the neckline, sleeve hems, centre front and hem. Up close, the silver lace is almost metallic, with striking swirling motifs and delicate cord work throughout. Zippered sleeve openings give the design a quietly modern edge.

Styled over a couture duchess satin column dress for the ‘Grace’ campaign, the Silver Darling Coat is beautifully versatile – suited to both evening wear and bridal, and available in a multitude of bespoke lace colours. With its commanding silhouette and exquisitely detailed fabric, the Silver Darling Coat marks another milestone in Phillipa Lepley’s growing signature in couture outerwear.
