Sculpted in luxurious Italian heavy-weight duchess satin, ‘Vienna Michaela Myrtle’ showcases the unparalleled skill and expertise that goes into crafting a couture design.

A wide, off-the-shoulder collar forms the gown’s defining feature, beautifully framing the décolleté. For the creation of this design, the collar was meticulously refined through toile mock-ups in the London atelier to ensure the most balanced and proportioned line on the body – a silhouette that is as striking as it is timeless.

Delicate myrtle leaves dance across the collar in a newly introduced hand-embroidery to the Phillipa Lepley collection. The beauty of the natural world is a constant source of inspiration for Phillipa; myrtle, often woven into wedding bouquets, symbolises love, beauty, and loyalty.

Crafted using a combination of satin stitch and organza and satin chiffon appliqué, the leaves are overstitched with ivory threadwork, creating a textural contrast against the satin’s luminous sheen. Frosted glass crystals, ivory pearls, and fine glass beads are woven into intricate sprigs, subtly catching the light with every movement.

Each Phillipa Lepley wedding dress is designed to celebrate the female form. A signature silhouette is achieved through an internal corset, sculpting and defining the waist with precision. The ‘nipped-in’ waist provides a beautiful contrast to the voluminous, full skirt, which flares out over the hips with effortless grace.

‘Vienna Michaela Myrtle’ features long satin sleeves, finished with delicate button-and-loop closures at the wrist. A row of hand-sewn bridal buttons adorns the centre back, adding an extra touch of quiet refinement.

For the Grace collection campaign shoot, ‘Vienna Michaela Myrtle’ is styled with jewellery by David Morris and Mikimoto, shoes by Emmy London, and a jasmine bouquet by All For Love London.
