Katharine’s Quintessentially English Marquee Wedding

We created a bespoke, corseted lace wedding dress with straps for Katharine to wear for her church wedding ceremony and garden marquee reception.

Katharine chose to have a fuller A line skirt shape with extra petticoats and a dramatic, extra long train. The base dress was cut in a soft, fluid silk crepe, with a sweetheart neckline bodice and our signature Phillipa Lepley corset hidden within, showing off Katharine’s slender waist beautifully.

The dress was covered in the finest French corded lace, the specific shade chosen specifically to work with Katharine’s sun kissed complexion.

The on-the-edge-of-shoulder lace straps of Katharine’s dress were beaded with the delicate seed pearls, considerately placed to enhance the scallop edge and rose floral motifs of the lace, gently trickling out at the bodice of the dress.

Katharine’s cathedral length silk tulle veil extended beyond her extra long train and was trimmed in complimenting lace scallop edging.

“I absolutely ADORED my dress- it was just perfect and more than I could ever have hoped for!”
